Job Description
There are full-time and part-time scouting positions available, all on commission. Earning potential for scouts ranges from $20,000 to $150,000+. Job Responsibilities
- Scout and evaluate local high school/club student-athletes
- Enroll qualified student-athletes in our premium memberships
- Work with other people in sports across your country
Top scouts will
- Scout 100+ local student-athletes per week
- Enroll 25+ qualified student-athletes into our premium memberships each month
We’ll teach you how to conduct scouting evaluations utilizing our proprietary technologies and a tested approach. In order to assist StudBud in building the largest athletic recruiting network of student-athletes for college coaches to recruit, you will attend high schools and club team practices and games in your area.
Successful scouts typically possess the following characteristics:
- Connections with current High School and Club coaches are strongly preferred.
- Coaching or playing experience at the collegiate or professional levels in high school or elsewhere
- Sales experience preferred
- The ability to visit club teams and nearby high schools in your region
- Outstanding time management abilities
- Self-motivated
- Flexibility in job schedule (nights and weekends to attend practices and games)
- Extroverted attitude, ready to interact in person with coaches, players, and their families in your region
