I’m a 15 years old girl that started playing club volleyball 2 years ago. Prior to this, I played rugby. In the two years, I made our National volleyball team and competed against the best teams in Ontario. Travelling to Boston and Vegas and Calgary for Nationals.
My first summer playing I applied for Team Ontario (TORP) and made this team. I was invited to a positions camp and competed in the summer playing beach volleyball.
I am 5’10. I am an outside hitter but specialize in defense.
This year I applied for Team Ontario and made the team. I was invited to the positions camp (VPC) by Leslie Erie. And also applied and made ALL Canadian first look camp hosted by Gerry Dee.
This year after provincials I was presented with the award of excellence-this award was given to the athlete who demonstrates a very positive attitude, eagerness to learn, work ethic and motivating my team while having fun.
I have a dedicated speed and strength training coach for the off season and will continue to work with him during the season. He is incredible!
This summer I am also competing in beach volley which I love and I get to compete in large tournaments in Toronto, Canada against the top teams in premier.
I work hard at school and apply myself to everything I do.

I won that award after our provincials-we came in 4th in the top division. It was an amazing year! I can't wait for next season.
