My name is Szilágyi Kristóf Zoltán, and volleyball has been my greatest passion since I was 15 years old. I first discovered the sport on the beach, and it quickly grew from a pastime into a lifelong commitment. Driven by determination and a clear goal to excel, I made the decision to move back to Romania on my own and leave my family in Egypt, to pursue a professional path in volleyball with an U19 team. That same year, in 2023, my team won the bronze medal, a milestone that fueled my ambition to keep improving and competing at higher levels.
I am currently playing in the Hungarian First League, where I have the privilege of training and competing alongside some of the best players in Hungary. Through these experiences, I have learned the true value of discipline, resilience, teamwork, and leadership — qualities that define me both as an athlete and as a person.
Beyond volleyball, I am also passionate about acting and drama, which have helped me develop confidence, expression, and communication skills that translate naturally onto the court. Academically, I graduated from high school in a Cambridge school with a specialization in physics, mathematics, and biology, reflecting my curiosity about science, the human body, and how things function.
I am an outgoing, hardworking, and team-oriented individual who enjoys challenges and thrives in collaborative environments. As I look ahead, I plan to pursue a degree in Business Management and Communication or Mechanical Engineering, fields that will allow me to continue growing intellectually while representing my school and community in sports.
My goal is to continue developing as a student-athlete, contributing my dedication, sportsmanship, and passion to both my team and my academic pursuits. Volleyball has taught me that success comes from persistence and heart — values I carry with me in everything I do.
