My name is Soukeyna Thioro Diouf. I was born on December 13th, 2008, in Vitrolles, France, and I have both French and Swiss nationality. I am following the French school system and I am in my last year of high school, and I want to become a surgeon in the future. I grew up in a very sporty family and have always spent a lot of time in volleyball gyms because my sisters were playing, and they still do. I started playing in tournaments around the age of 9 or 10, and I quickly discovered my passion for this sport.
After that, I joined the ” Pôle Espoir ” and started playing in Nationale 3 while also participating in youth competitions. I also had the opportunity to represent France in the WEVZA tournament. Later, I joined NUC Volley in Switzerland in Ligue B, which helped me become more independent and responsible.
Now, I play for Vitrolles in Nationale 2 and participate in the U18 French Cup. I play as an outside hitter, and my main strengths are attacking, receiving, and blocking.
Through volleyball, I have learned discipline, determination, and teamwork. I always try to improve, never give up, I love playing volleyball, and I am always happy. At school, I am curious, serious, and motivated, and I work hard to balance my studies with volleyball.
