My name is Sarah Kobielsky. Born in 2008, I am a class of 2027 6’0’’ outside hitter. I was born and raised in Ontario, Canada, and moved to Slovakia in 2023 at 16 years old. From an early age, sports have always been in my life. Before starting to play volleyball, I was enrolled in competitive gymnastics, dance, and swimming, and played for my school’s track and field and basketball teams. I started playing volleyball in the sixth grade and immediately recognized it as the sport I would like to pursue at the professional level. I currently play for Slávia EU volleyball club in Bratislava at the U20 level. I have been given the opportunity to represent Slovakia in the U20 age category and train with the country’s best athletes. I am graduating next year from the IB program in Bratislava. I maintain a 6.5-7 average, equivalent to a 3.9 GPA in the US. I would like to study medicine at university.
