I'm an 18-year-old studying computer science in Prato, Tuscany. I love tech and running, but last year was tough. I got a pneumothorax, which is basically a collapsed lung, and it knocked me off my running game. I had to stop training and focus on getting better, which meant a lot of time not doing what I love. But I didn't let it keep me down. Even though I had to take it easy, I dove into my tech studies. I learned more about coding and computers, which was pretty cool. Now, I'm back on my feet and training for the Prato Half Marathon on April 14th. I'm pushing myself hard, trying to make up for lost time. Running this half marathon isn't just about finishing; it's about proving to myself that I can bounce back from anything. Every day, I'm out there, running a bit further, getting a bit stronger. It's been a wild ride, but I'm not giving up. This race is my chance to show what I'm made of.
