Hello,
I am now in my 4th season of volleyball, what a ride it has been. I went from not playing a single minute my first year of volleyball to starting in the relegation battle for the second Bundesliga last year, just within 3 years! Sadly I got hurt outside of volleyball and missed the last round of relegation which we tragically lost by 2 points in the 5th set. However this backset only fueled me more to improve and we as a team set sight on going over the hump this year and making it to the second Bundesliga.
I always give 110% whenever it’s possible. Not only do I train on the court 3-4x a week, but in the weight room as well, which lead to a massive increase in athletic performance. In numbers, I went from a skinny kid with a 24“ vertical jump to an athlete with now 36“ vertical jump, close to touching 10“10 in just over 2 years, and I am not planning on stopping anytime soon. I manage to put that much time into the sport I love by staying organized with my academics. Last year I managed to maintain a 3.5 GPA. I’d say my biggest strengths are 1: my work ethic and 2: I am the worst loser I have ever met, I take very loss personal and use it as motivation to get better.

In Austria individual awards don’t exist in volleyball, so this category will stay empty unfortunately.
