Hello! My name is Nađa and i’m an 18 year old basketball player from Belgrade, Serbia. I have been doing sports since i was 3. I started my journey at a sports school for kids, one year of gymnastics, a couple years of dancing and now almost 10 years of basketball. Being in sports for so long made me disciplined, determined, hard working, fearless and confident in all spheres of life.
It came to the point where my life out of sports and my life in sports morphed into one. I catch myself applying what i learned in one life to another every day. Being in team sports taught me how to work with different people, communicate, find compromises but also to be competitive and fight to earn my spot. I competed in athletics, football, handball, basketball and basketball 3×3, but i’m most proud of winning a world gold medal in 2021. in the ISF basketball 3×3 competition, a European bronze medal in 2025. at a ESSF basketball competition and an athlete of the generation award that i won at my school in 2022.
Growing up loving books, movies, tv shows and music helped me a lot with developing my skills in english language.
My final goal is to finish my journey by opening my own school of sports for kids, like the one where it all began for me, and maybe even make it international.
Until then i want to continue with playing basketball, meet new people, new cultures and study psychology and pedagogy.
