About me

I am from the Republic of Cyprus, a small Mediterranean Island. I attend high school at GC School of Careers (Sports School Programme). This English-speaking private school follows the British educational system and prepares students for the British University entrance examinations (IGCSE and GCE A-LEVEL). I will graduate in June 2026 and intend to pursue my university studies in the Fall Semester of the same year.

At the age of ten, I started playing volleyball at the “APOK” Volleyball Academy.

At 13, I played for the “APOK” U16 and U18 teams in the starting line-up, as well as the APOK Women’s Team (Division II). We placed second in the 2021-2022 Women’s (Division II) Cup Final and third in the 2022-2023 National U18 Championship. In 2020, I was invited to the National U16 Volleyball Team of Cyprus trials and trained with the Pre-national team until the summer of 2021.

I currently play for “Anorthosis Famagusta” (Division I) Women’s Team and U18.
Division 1 Women’s teams in Cyprus can include up to four international players, some of whom have played in the NCAA or for national teams. Playing and practicing at this level, with and against such athletes, allows me to greatly improve my volleyball skills while also developing as a player and a person.

Volleyball is an important part of my life, and being part of a team has helped shape who I am today. I learned to face my fears, challenges, losses, and wins. It gave me discipline and determination to stick to both my athletic and academic schedules.

I intend to continue playing while continuing my university education, as volleyball has become an integral part of my life.

I’m looking forward to being a part of a team and working with great teammates and motivating coaches who can help me enhance my skills as a player, while also making a valuable contribution to my team’s success.
