About me
Sport has always been central to my life. From years of high-level basketball to equestrian, and now volleyball, I was raised in an environment of constant competition. Growing up with two older brothers meant that competition was woven into everyday life where we were always challenging each other in any game or contest we could create. That upbringing shaped my competitive drive and resilience.
I began playing volleyball at age 14 through my high school, but it wasn’t until 2023 that I committed fully to the sport. That year, I joined Dandenong Volleyball Club (DVC), competing at the Premier 1 level in the Victorian Volleyball League (VVL). From the moment I entered this environment, I fell in love with volleyball and the relentless pursuit of improvement it demands.
Since joining DVC, our team has won three consecutive Premier 1 gold medals. In 2024, I was awarded MVP of the gold medal match. I have also been honored to represent my state, Victoria, at the national level. Last year, I was named co-captain of the Victorian U21 team, which my co-captain and I led to an undefeated national championship.
For the past three years, I have trained 5–6 times per week, focusing on technical ball skills, physical development, and video analysis, all within high-performance environments. DVC has been instrumental in my growth, surrounding me with senior athletes who have represented their country, competed in NCAA Division I programs, and played at elite levels for decades. Learning from these players has accelerated my development, not only as an athlete, but as a leader and a teammate.
My coaches and teammates describe me as a fiercely competitive and highly coachable athlete who responds well to feedback and communicates effectively both on and off the court. I pride myself on being an efficient and reliable pin hitter, while also contributing a strong defensive presence in the backcourt. I bring consistent energy, accountability, and a winning mindset to every team I join, and I take pride in supporting my teammates in any role required.
It is my dream to compete at the NCAA Division I level in the United States, where I can pursue both my academic and athletic goals in a high-performance environment. I believe this pathway will best prepare me to represent Australia at the highest level. My ultimate goal is to compete for Australia at the Olympic Games, and I am fully committed to doing the work required to reach that standard.
