I have been playing football since I was 3 years old and have always played for the same club, Ringsted Girls’ Football. When I was 13, I was offered the chance to join a high-level club called HG Næstved, but I decided to stay at Ringsted as I felt it was too early to make the move. At 14, I suffered a knee injury that had a significant impact on me. However, after two surgeries and two years of recovery, I am back and have been playing ever since.
I am eager to continue developing as a football player and to experience a new culture, both in terms of football and the people. I’ve always dreamed of attending an “efterskole” (a Danish school year program), but due to my injury, I had to let that idea go. Instead, I think spending a year in the USA would be the perfect opportunity for me.
