About me
My name is Isidora Díaz Aguirre and I’m from Chile.
I started playing volleyball when I was 11 years old in Club Providencia, I had the fortune of playing in international tournaments since I started, been in places like Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil, which it let me discover different kinds of teams and high levels of volleyball. In addition, I had the opportunity to be apart of the National Team of Chile U14, which was a great honor and experience.
Another important part of my life was going to New Zealand twice, the first time I went because of an exchange to improve my English at the Christchurch Girls High School, in there, I participate in the school volleyball selection, we won first place in two regional championship and won third place in the national scholar championship among 91 teams of all over the country. Thanks to my performance and the capability to be a contribution, not only in sports, but also to generate the necessary team spirit to achieve always a bit more, in June 2023, the school offered me a scholarship to be apart of the team again this year, achieving the second place in the national scholar championship.
At present, I play for my club in the national adult league of Chile, also the U19 regional championship and international championship with Club Manquehue.

I’ve been working with Daniel Zapata, former Physical Trainer of the Women’s Chilean National Volleyball Team, about three years to increase my physical conditions to avoid injuries. Usually I play MB, but sometimes I had and can play OH and OPP.
