Hi coaches,
I’m Erika and I am excited to introduce myself to you!
Born in Croatia, I spent much of my childhood in Belgium, attending the British Junior
Academy of Brussels and now studying in the UK at Ellesmere College. I am extremely motivated to find a community in which I can continue grow both as a student-athlete and an individual.
My tennis game is aggressive, unpredictable, and dynamic. I live for the full-court hustle with a killing drop shot finisher. These non-stop action and the intense points are what drive me to outdo every following point. Count on me to put 100% in chasing down any ball because I am totally cool with kissing the floor from time to time.
This drive, determination and the fast-paced environment of tennis, are also showcased in my academics. For the past 7 years, I’ve been studying in the IB program, where I’ve learned to balance multiple commitments, and developed a global mindset. I am interested in design, marketing, and engineering, and I plan taking on university courses that integrate these areas.
My competitiveness takes over in every prospect of my daily life and I can’t wait to join a community that uses this spirit to push each others limits. I am eager to match energy with a team that will together set practices and courts on fire.
I look forward to working with coaches that will challenge me, criticize me, and support me in my development. I’m thrilled about the possibility of bringing my energy, commitment, and discipline to your team and contributing to its success both on and off the court!

Apart from moving on and off tennis courts, over the past few years I've been spending my free time on other courts and became obsessed with volleyball and basketball. It's the synergy and the game tactics that I love. I have a strong passion for running too. I've run for several charities and both crushed and died on the running trails. Besides these hobbies, I am fluent in English and Croatian, and at a good level in French. One of my New Year's resolution with my friend was to start learning Spanish. So, if you are interested in finding out how my Spanish is going, see you at Uni in Fall 2025!
