Hi Coaches,
My name is Batın Öztürk, and I am an 18-year-old libero from Istanbul, Turkey. I currently play for Gebze Belediye Spor Kulübü, where we won the 1st League and will promote to the Efeler Ligi (Turkey’s Super League). I hold a starting position on my team and take great pride in contributing to our success.
In addition to my current achievements, I was honored to receive the Best Libero title twice in a row at the National High School Championship over the past two years. I also finished both tournaments as the statistically best passing player, which is a reflection of my dedication to consistently improving my skills on the court.
I am fully committed to both my athletic and academic growth. Beyond my passion for volleyball, I place a strong emphasis on education. This commitment is why I aspire to experience the American student-athlete lifestyle, where I can thrive both on the court and in the classroom.
Outside of volleyball, I enjoy speaking English, playing tennis and pickleball, and unwinding with a good Netflix series. My ultimate goal in pursuing higher education in the U.S. is to immerse myself in an environment that inspires excellence in all areas of my life.
