My name is Annabelle Marcuzzi, and I am a setter in the Class of 2027. I am a Grade 11 student at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School in Oakville, Ontario, where I balance academics and athletics. I am currently in my fourth year of volleyball and continue to challenge myself at a high level.
I competed at the Team Ontario Red 16U program and won the All-Canadian 16U Games. Having the opportunity to play alongside and compete against some of the top athletes in Canada was an incredible experience, and one that I am extremely grateful for.
I come from a strong multi-sport background, including playing rep hockey at the highest level for multiple years, which helped develop my athleticism, competitiveness, and mental toughness. Volleyball is the sport I am most passionate about, and I enjoy the responsibility of being a setter, particularly the decision-making, leadership, and trust required to run an offense and support my teammates.
In addition to club volleyball, I compete in several school sports and balance athletics with a part-time job, which has strengthened my discipline. After starting volleyball later than many athletes, I embraced the challenge and progressed quickly. I currently play for Pakmen Volleyball Club on the 17U Gold Ghosts team.
I am a highly coachable, hardworking athlete who is committed to improving every day. My goal is to compete at the NCAA level and contribute to a program that values growth, leadership, and team culture.
