About me

Hello, my name is Ana. From an early age, sport has played an important role in shaping who I am today. Volleyball has given me some of the most important moments of my life. Those moments weren’t loud or dramatic. They were quiet and barely noticeable. Sometimes they looked like the unseen hours of training and focus that shaped me long before the match began. Growing up in Serbia taught me that these qualities are not just values, but the very steps necessary for lasting success.

Apart from being a volleyball player, I am a dedicated and curious individual who values growth both on and off the court. In my free time, I enjoy participating in various workshops, including those organized by children’s rights centers, as well as volunteering whenever possible. These experiences allow me to connect with inspiring people, gain new perspectives, and develop a strong sense of responsibility and empathy. Traveling is another passion of mine, as it helps me explore lives and cultures beyond my own, broadening my understanding of the world.

My teammates and coaches describe me as energetic, supportive and relentlessly driven. I not only bring positive energy to every environment, but also inspire those around me, including myself, to push beyond perceived limits. Every one of my successes is marked by dominance on the court and perseverance. The start of every match for me represents surrendering to the magic that volleyball brings. I am excited for every step of my journey, eager to learn and to master new skills.

During the summer months, I also enjoy playing beach volleyball, which allows me to further develop my versatility, adaptability, and love for the game.
Outside of the season, I am consistent in the gym, where I focus on strength, conditioning, and injury prevention. I also enjoy skiing and ice skating, activities that further enhance my coordination, agility, and mental focus.

Alongside my athletic goals, I am committed to maintaining high academic standards and bringing the same discipline to the classroom as I do to the field. Above all, I believe in leading by example and using every challenge as an opportunity to rise higher.
