    About me

My name is Alissa, I was born in Monza (Italy) on 8th April 2006.
My parents are from Bosnia and Herzegovina, so I’m used to speaking multiple languages like Italian and Bosnian.

    Additional information

I began to play volleyball when I was thirteen, in Vero Volley Monza, where I met my first idol, Edina Begic, and I definitely fell in love with that sport. Since the first moment my long-term goal has been to become a professional volleyball player. With the help of my parents and of my team, driven by my ambition, I pushed on and I got into the U16 selection of Vero Volley. Then, in the 2022-2023, I changed to U18 VBest Volley with whom I have competed in the group of excellences of U18 Championship, in which my teammates and I won the second place in the area of Milan, Monza and Lecco; we qualified for regional phase (Lombardy) and we came third. From there, we accessed the last step, the Nationals, in which we played against the best teams from various regions of Italy. At the same time I played in D league and trained with players of B2 league. The following year I got an offer from Segrate Volley Milano to play in the U18 championship of excellence and we reached third place in the territory of Milan, Monza and Lecco. Unfortunately, our path for the regional phase was interrupted. Nevertheless, we have continued our season playing C league. This season I’m playing in Net Volley Cinisello, with older and expert players, in the C league with the common goal of a promotion in B2.
